The Whaling Museum is pleased to present a broad array of community programs for preschoolers, elementary-age children, tweens and teens, and adults exploring stories above and below the waves.
Our educators travel with museum collection objects to libraries, classrooms, and community centers to engage participants in an interactive, object- and inquiry- based learning experience. Programs are available year-round and are themed to match seasonal interests. We currently reach 6,000 participants a year all over Long Island and beyond!
Our traveling programs can be brought to your location, and we also offer live virtual lectures and pre-recorded programs with kits.
