COLD SPRING HARBOR, NY

Events & exhibits
for all ages, all year!

Picture

Call for Artisans!
Bakers, knitters, candlemakers, quilters, woodworkers, potters, weavers, metalsmiths, puppetmakers, carvers -
We want you! The Museum welcomes local artisans who bring the skills and handicrafts of yesterday to life to our new special event, SeaFaire.

Come join our wonderful community event this fall.
What will you pass on to the next generation?

Interested? Share basic info below; if you are the right fit for the event, a museum staff member will follow up with you.

Guidelines:
All arts and crafts must be handmade by the artist and exhibit a historical quality or skill.
No manufactured kits, items from overseas, purchased pieces, or resale items are permitted.
The artist themselves are required to represent their table, as the purpose of the event is to emphasize local craftspeople just as much as the craft itself.
Dress in period clothing (19th century) is strongly encouraged, but not required.
Details about the setup time will be announced shortly.
If reselling items, a current NYS sales certificate should be displayed.
Spots are first come, first served, pending approval by museum staff.
