We invite local classes from Nassau and Suffolk counties to use the Museum’s front window display as an exciting opportunity to exhibit relevant student artwork. We encourage creativity and especially welcome bold, eye-catching submissions. Ideas can range from colorful I Love Whale/Ocean Flags to Maritime History or Sea Life Explorations, or Recycled-Materials Artwork to Promote Ocean Conservation.
Ages: Pre-k through High School.
Deadline: Ongoing through 2013.
Size and Material: All media materials welcome; receive our approval before starting project (see below). You provide all materials, we provide the space; museum may be able to assist with display stands. Artwork may hang for 1-4 months, depending on scheduling availability. Glass window space is approximately 8 feet wide and 5 feet tall (display room behind glass is larger).
